How do I install RedMatiq?

Download the latest version from our website and open the DMG file. Drag RedMatiq to your Applications folder. On first launch, right-click the app and select "Open" to bypass Gatekeeper.

Where is my data stored?

All your data stays on your Mac. RedMatiq stores documents and settings locally in your Application Support folder. Nothing is uploaded to external servers unless you explicitly use the chat feature.

How does the redaction work?

RedMatiq uses on-device AI to detect personal information like names, addresses, and emails. Detected items are replaced with anonymous placeholders before any data leaves your machine. You can review and adjust redactions before sharing.

Can I undo redactions?

Yes. RedMatiq preserves the original document. Toggle between redacted and original views anytime. When exporting, you control whether to include placeholders or real values.

How do I activate my license?

Go to RedMatiq → Settings → License and enter your license key. If you don't have a key yet, the app works in evaluation mode with full functionality.
